F.A.Q.'s
- Q. I can't see the page numbers below
"quickly navigate to a specific page" what happened?
- A. Some web browsers block the iframe tag which I used to
insert that feature onto the page. There is a link below where
the numbers should normally appear that will take you to the
navigation page. Note: it appears this works using http, but not
always https.
- Q. Can I download and use these
pictures?
- A. Yes, as long as you give credit back to the museum with a
web link and do not use them for commercial use.
- Q. Can I donate pictures to the
museum?
- A. Yes! click
here for more information.
- Q. Where can I find the newest
payphone pictures?
- A. The Gallery "book" is created in numerical order. Page 1
contains the oldest pictures. To view the most recent uploads,
use the Navigation at the bottom of each page, click the highest
number and use the back/forward buttons to move around.
- Q. I tried to search for a payphone in
the search bar but couldn't find it. Where is it?
- A. The search engine takes a few days to update. If the
picture is new it may not be there yet. If it's older, try using
different keywords. For example, if the phone is in New York,
try searching NY if "New York" doesn't return the desired
results. It could also be on page 70
as it is formatted differently.
- Q. I sent you a picture and it's not
in the museum yet, what happened?
- A. This museum is run by one person. Sometimes I get busy
and don't have time to update it quickly. Other times I simply
forget. - I am human- If it has been more than a week or two
since you've sent me something, please
send me an email and remind
me.
- Q. I found a really cool payphone on
Google, can I upload it to the museum?
- A. No, In an effort to try and keep the museum original and
to respect the copyrights and work of others the museum only
allows original pictures. However, you're welcome to take a new
picture of the phone and send that.
